KBDD is a team oriented company. There are many who make up the team beside the Pilots who fly for us.

Special Honorable Mention
Will James – HeliFreak.com

Will James is responsible for the on-line forum for RC helicopter enthusiasts, Helifreak.com. This forum is based on learning, fun and mutual respect. The forum is an amazing wealth of knowledge and the place to go to for assistance whether with a question, a concern involving RC helicopters or to watch a Finless Bob build or review video. HeliFreak is a reflection of Will James. The adjectives describing Will are many including helpful, caring, honest, fun and ethical but we, and many like us, just call him “Friend”. Many people have done many things to help and promote the RC Community. Few, if any have done more!    -Dick Cook

KBDD International Next Generation Pilot Team

KBDD is very please to present our Next Generation Pilot Team. This team was started late 2010 to help promote the next generation of pilots. The team will be made up of pilots under the age of 12 who have proven to have all the qualities of our existing KBDD International Pilot Team.

We are honored to present the KBDD International Next Generation Team listed random order:

Mason Dumanski

Mason is five years old and lives in Newburgh, IN. He lives with his Mother, Father and Brother. He missed his second day of Kindergerten due to attending the 2011 IRCHA Jamboree. Mason and his Brother Conner  enjoy things like riding bikes, jumping and popping wheelies. He also likes ice  hockey. True to KBDD form, he loves making friends with old and young alike . He is also very attentive and listens very well. Mason is learning daily and is very attentive to flight line safety and respecting others. Mason has his own web site under development at http://www.MasonDumanski.com .

Mason is the first of our Next Generation Pilot Team. It was upon meeting Mason and his family that the Next Generation Pilot Team idea was born.

KBDD Pilot Team

KBDD is very please to present our Pilots and Representatives to you. Our pilots have to demonstrate high ethics, great personality and the willingness to offer assistance to the RC hobby community. Their flying style is secondary to KBDD. If fact, we look for many varied styles of flying within the team. Not everyone flies like a Tony Whiteside, Eric Brandenburg, Ah Clem, Bob White, Devan Raines or Caleb White but all our pilots together give us a good representation of the flying community. This is enormously valuable when we are testing new products.

We are honored to present the KBDD Team listed random order:

Caleb White
Caleb lives in Lancaster, Ohio. He is one of our single pilots and started flying when he was 25. Caleb goes by "MrRPM" on the forums. His work involves engineering, Design and drafting. Caleb has been flying for KBDD since 2009. His flying style is mixed with smooth flying and smack. Caleb flies a Compass 5HV, Trex Pro and others. An interesting thing about Caleb is he is part artist and almost studied graphic design until his scientific side won over. We at KBDD appreciate both sides. Caleb is a quiet guy but lets his flying walk on the wild side.

Devan Rains
Devan is known as "evo4ever" on the RunRyder Forum. Devan is an excellent Test Pilot for KBDD and lives in Cottageville, West Virginia. Devon is able to give us the feedback we need to create a better product. He is married and just recently celebrated his new Son coming into his life. He is the servant of a dog and a cat. Devan has been flying since 2006 and is also sponsored by RC Heli Works and Wildcat Fuels. Devan is a truck driver by trade and says his flying style is smooth. I need to tell you that although he is smooth, there is a lot of 3D mixed in. .
Devan flies a Velocity 50, Synergy N5, Compass 600E and a Trex 450 Pro. Devon used to race motocross until age and injuries stopped him. For that we are glad as it gives him more time to test and give his excellent feedback on our product. Devan has an extremely quick wit and is a joy to be around. He is very helpful to others. Devan loves to delve deep into a technical problem. Devan races motocross and has won many races.

Jeremy Harvey
Jeremy lives in Tyler, Texas. He has been flying for about 5 years. He likes to fly both sport and 3D depending on his mood. Jeremy flies an Outrage 550, Outrage G5 and a Mini-Titan. Jeremy works in computer networking. Jeremy lives alone but his life is rich with all the friends he has made. He has been on the KBDD team for 2 years. Jeremy is an extremely nice guy who is a constant inspiration to the KBDD family and those who are physically challenged. His web site http://www.jeremyharveyrc.com
opens with his cool graphic with the word “Determination”. As Jeremy states on his web site, his life is all about Perseverance, Commitment and Courage. It is all about the daily choices people make in their lives. The right choice may be the more difficult option but with the perseverance to see it through, the commitment to the decision, the courage to take the harder road and the determination to succeed you will be successful. A visit to his web site will leave you with a more positive attitude and help empower you to make the tough decisions we all need to make. We are honored to have Jeremy as the inspirational leader of the KBDD Team. He is an awesome friend to all! He even goes to the Dentist regularly.

Sebastian Zajonz
Sebastian Lives in Germany. His nickname on all forums is his real name. Sebastian is an Engineering student and likes to play with CAD. Sebastian started flying helicopters when he was 12. Dominic DiClemente
Dominic is known on the forums as "HFG" or "Capi". He lives in Toronto, Canada flying out of the Mississauga Model Flying Club. He is a self-proclaimed professional student, already having a degree in engineering and will finish up his Ph.D. after returning from IRCHA. Dominic’s education has allowed him insight in MEM and RF which provides him a platform to help out in the hobby in a unique way. Dominic got started in the hobby after stumbling across Finless’ build videos on HeliFreak but didn’t start flying until April, 2007due the Canadian weather.
Dominic started flying KBDD tail blades after his first year of flying and hasn’t looked back since. After he had a chance to try the KBDD paddles this year, he has managed to get his entire club addicted to them. Dominic’s flying style consists of any word that includes the word “piro”. He enjoys flying precise piro moves. Dominic is a representative for Outrage and Spartan RC. Dominic says a little known interesting thing about him is that he is one lab experiment from being a super villain. We at KBDD are glad the test tubes didn’t get mixed up.

Nickolas Simkiss
Nick lives in Aston, PA and is not married. This works great for him as it gives him more time to fly. Nick is known as FENDERSRAT on HeliFreak and RunRyder forums. He has been a professional musician for close to 20 years and has taught guitar for 18 years. Nick also works in an auto repair shop during the day. His flying style is advanced aerobatics and is working towards more 3D. His desire is to fly 3D with smoothness, control and precision with big sky moves thrown in. Nick flies a Thundertiger, Mini Titan, MTSE Compass Model
Atom and Knight 3D. He is at this writing building a Compass Model 6HV. Nick can play thousands of songs on his guitar including songs of the Beatles, Stones and Hendrix. He can also play classical guitar and blues. Nick is also new to the team this year. Welcome Nick, glad to have you.

Rick Copeland
Rick is known as WA11banger on HeliFreak and RunRyder forums. He is married and lives with two great kids and 3 dogs in Huntsville, Alabama. Rick has flown some type of RC for 36 years with helicopters the last 6 of those years. Rick was the first pilot on the team. He basically started when KBDD produced the first tail blade. Rick became a true believer in the design. He is also sponsored by his Wife and Quick UK Performance Parts. When not flying he is working for Lockheed Martin and is the IT Services Manager at the NASA Marshal
Space Flight Center. We sometimes kid him about being KBDD’S rocket scientist. Rick says his flying style is poor, pathetic and even sad. He says he might not be any good but he sure is fun to watch. We at KBDD disagree with that as Rick is a good pilot. He also has some spectacular crashes, one of which occurred during a 6 second long demo flight. His current ever-changing fleet is a Trex 250, 600 electric, 700 with a couple Compass Knight 3Ds thrown in. Rick’s other money hole is fishing. He says it is addicting as flying with same outdoor time.

Tony Whiteside
Tony is a crazy fun loving guy. He lives in Shepherdsville, Kentucky with his Wife, Missy, a set of three year old twins, Sevyn and Aliyah, a dog, Ginger, and a cat, Sideways Kitty. He also has a 21 year old Daughter. Missy doesn’t come to many events as she is busy with the family but when she does it will be your lucky day if you are around to try her cooking. Tony uses his full name on HeliFreak and uses hotshot tony on RunRyder. Tony started flying when he was 33 years old and joined the KBDD team in 2008. He is also sponsored by Compass Model,
Rotorworks, SWErc.com, Henry Caldwell, HeliFreak.com, SRI.com, Heli Direct, YS Engines and DL Canopies. Tony owns New Age Construction Company building and bricking homes. He also owns Hardcore Pimp-gear.com which is a site for clothing for hard core pilots. He is working on a new line of clothing. His flying style is very hardcore 3D. Make that exceptionally very hardcore 3D. He flies Outrage helicopters. He says he is crazier than most and we can’t disagree with him on that but we can tell you that he is one of the most friendly guys around and always ready to lend a hand to a person in need.

Eric is known as “fly boy 1” on the forums. He lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his two Golden Retrievers. He is a full time student at the University of Western Michigan. I'm currently a factory pilot for Outrage RC. I have been with Outrage now for 4 years. I help with the design and development of Outrage products.

HC demands a lot of the products I fly. He states “ I must say I'm amazed at how well KBDD products perform on my helis. I would suggest their products to anyone wanting higher performance for a fraction of the price.” That is high praise coming from such a well-known and established pilot.

Doug started flying when he was 19 and has been a member of the KBDD team since 2008. Besides KBDD he is supported by many others. When Doug isn’t flying or camping he is an Office Manager. He says his flying style is “Forward Flight” but I know he is much better than that. I would say he is a Sport flyer with a little 3D mixed in. Doug flies a Trex 600 LE, GMP Legend , a Hirobo Shuttle and he has a lot of fun with a MSR. Doug loves night flying and seeing how bright he can make his heli before overloading it with LEDs. I do have to let people know that Doug is one of our team that we rely on very heavily. He is always the first one to jump in whenever we need a helping hand. Although we didn’t know him before he has proven to be a very close friend of the KBDD Owners and other Team Members. An example of his helpfulness to others is the assistance he is providing the IRCHA Board to help promote safety. We, at KBDD, are firmly supporting this endeavor.

Ah Clem/RAK402
Our next pilot likes to stay mysterious so we will only use his HeliFreak name of Ah Clem. You are going to have to get him to explain the name as I’m too young (or feebleminded) to remember the character. He also goes by RAK402 on RunRyder. He is our most active Pilot on the forums. He is always willing to help with a person’s question or concern in a totally unabashedly bias way. I cannot do justice to Ah Clem without using is own words as there is no way I’m going to try and top him. Ah Clem lives in Alhambra, California with “the most beautiful Wife in the world”. They share their
house with their Son and three cats. Ah Clem works in the Telecommunications Industry. Ah Clem joined the KBDD Team in 2008. He started flying at “age 20. It is very interesting to know that “I flew R/C helicopters for TV shows and low budget action films including Night Rider, Airwolf, Defense Play, Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Guns, etc. He was the original and final R/C helicopter pilot on Airwolf”. Suffice it to say that Ah Clem lights up our life when we get a call from him. Ah Clem is such a joy to talk to and a true gentleman on the forums. Ah Clem, You are awesome! Thanks for continuing on the team and offering your valuable and extensive experience to us and others.
