KBDD is a manufacturer of high performance tail blades, dampeners and paddles, that fit the majority of various size helicopters. All our parts are a composite of materials. These should never be considered as “plastic” parts. Although our parts do have plastic included in their composition, some items have plastic as the minority item. All parts are manufactured in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA, a part of the Columbus, Ohio metro area. We sell only wholesale. We place all our products through rigorous testing before production. Every single item is inspected at least twice and up to four times before being packaged and shipped to our dealers. Customer service and maintaining a high standard of integrity with our customers and their pilots are KBDD’s foremost concerns.
Our tail blades and paddles are of very high quality and are favorably compared to carbon fiber. Many times our paddles and tail blades outperform carbon fiber and they absolutely are much more durable. Carbon fiber tail blades and paddles cannot compare when price and durability are taken into account. Our paddles offer great stability as well as the ability to perform tremendous 3D aerobatic maneuvers. Our products are the best on the market especially when considering price and durability. |

| KBDD tail Blades are made from a composition of different materials. Our airfoil is very unique. The air foil pulls the air back together to allow the following tail blade to cut through clean, less disturbed air. This allows our tail blades to be more effective. The airfoil also has a larger surface area which moves more air than longer tail blades. Our tail blades offer the performance of carbon fiber but are much more durable and cost far less. When cost performance and durability are considered, our tail blades are the best on the market. Tail blades of the same size can be mixed as they weigh the same. Try mixing colors to make your helicopter unique. |

| KBDD’s Glow-in-the-Dark with 5mm UV LED |
| |
KBDD recognized there was a need for high performance night tail blades. At first Pilots would tie light sticks on their helicopters to prevent a crash if power was lost to the glow wire or LEDs. KBDD wanted a simple solution that would not require changes in the way the helicopter performed during the day. We created a tail blade which when charged with light will glow for at least 10 minutes after the light source is removed. This gives the pilot plenty of time to land safely. This kit comes complete with a 5mm Ultraviolet LED which keeps the tail blades fully charged. The larger tail blades have more mass which is why they glow brighter.
Best news is they are just like our non-glowing tail blades. There is no performance loss for night flying. There is no added weight. There are no batteries or LEDs on the tail blades. You helicopter will fly as good at night as it does during the day. |

For the helicopters larger than 450, we added the Ultra Bright LED. This LED is a cluster of 4 chip Ultraviolet LEDs which are very bright. They keep even our 102 tail blades glowing brightly.
These larger size tail blades have more mass and glow much brighter than the smaller size. Best of all they flight the same as the “day” tail blades. Some pilots never take them off. |

| KBDD has done something extraordinary. With most paddles you had to decide if you wanted stability or quickness. We designed KBDD paddles to be very stable. In fast forward Flight the paddles remain true and level until YOU move the sticks. Amazingly we were also able to design additional quickness for the most aggressive 3D maneuvers. The added stability actually helps the 3D maneuvers as the helicopter is doing only what you want it to. No more fighting the helicopter while learning your next difficult 3D maneuver. | Our dampeners are made for long life and exacting performance. They are also a composite of materials and are designed to dampen progressively. The dampeners add the stability that both sport and 3D Pilots desire. |

| Our newest dampener is for the 450 size helicopter. This dampener will fit the Align 450 Version 2 and Version 3 (Trex 450 Pro) and all helicopters compatible. This dampener is our newest design and incorporates a unique composition of materials allowing for a smoother progressive dampening. This is a hard dampener. This material has a very long life. We have one test pilot who has well over 100 flights and three crashes on a set of dampeners with little signs of wear. Do not use oil based grease on KBDD dampeners. Use soap and water or Lithium based grease if desired. |

| KBDD’s newest product is The Tony Whiteside Extreme Edition upgrade kit for the 50 Nitro or 600 Electric size helicopters. The kit is commonly called the TWEE kit. The kit contains paddles, 92mm tail blades and 2 sets of dampers. The paddles and dampers are a totally new design and material composite. The 92mm tail blades are a new material composite. The paddles are even more stable than our existing paddles yet are quicker. They compare very well with paddles costing $60. The dampers are a one stage progressive damper which are soft around the middle yet get very hard during hard 3D. The 92mm tail blades are our previous design but with a new material composition which makes the stiffer than many carbon fiber yet are still more durable than carbon fiber. You can spend nearly $100 buying comparable products which may not perform as well. |

| The KBDD owners, Kevin, Becky, Laura and I were able to attend many events last year. Sometimes we couldn’t all be there but I know Kevin was at 23 local Fun Fly events in 2009. We hope to grow that number in 2010. We also are lucky to have a great team of pilots who attend many events. You know you can’t miss us in those bright shirts. Be sure to stop any of us if you have a question or suggestion or just to say hello. Kevin is the only flying Owner so the other three of us go to meet and talk to you. That is why we are there.
